Z Microsystems Provides Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) Processing System to Global Aircraft Integrator

Z Microsystems, a provider of mission-ready computing systems, announced that it is providing a customized Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) processing system to a global aircraft integrator. The system will be installed into aircraft to provide intelligence support for the end user. The total size of the multi-year order exceeded $6 million. Under the agreement, Z Microsystems' ISR solution will provide an integrated system of hardware and software. The hardware, which is designed by Z Microsystems, uses the COMx MPU to host mission specific software, IDS displays for operator analysis, ZX3 Servers for video ingestion, and a new fiber-optic transmission system to extend video, USB and audio to remote operators. The software is based on Z Microsystems ZViDEO capture software and integrates with partner technology to control an optical sensor with EO and IR video feeds. The software provides the capability to analyze, taq and distribute video in real-time.
