Potash barge values under pressure

The reopening of at least part of the lower Mississippi River in coming weeks will allow imported potash barges to move north to end-users, but even though this means a reduction in the build up in barges in the Gulf more aggressive prices are a possibility. Quotes at New Orleans were as low as $355/st FOB last week, but bids are below that price this week.
