IRAN: ASSC is reported to have issued a tender, closing May 3, for 60,000 mt of SOP for delivery from June to August. The tender is the first this year after the group issued three totalling 150,000 mt in 2010. ISRAEL: ICL reported that Q4 2010 was its best ever fourth quarter and 2010 was the best year except for the exceptional spike in 2008. The results announced on March 28 reflected strong growth in sales volumes, compared with 2009, which more than offset lower selling prices for potash. Sales last year increased by 25% year-on-year to $5.69 billion, operating income jumped 32% to $1.35 billion and net income was up 33% to $1.07 billion.
