According to producer data provided by The Fertilizer Institute, DAP output was 542,000 st during June, down 7% from May and 27% below the June 2010 level. This brought the fertilizer year's US production (July-June) to 7.55 million st, down 8% from the 2009-2010 fertilizer year. Producer's DAP inventories at the end of June were 430,000 st, down 16% from May and a whopping 31% below the end of June 2010. Producer DAP shipments in June were 625,000 st, bringing the July-June producer shipment total to 7.74 million st, a decline of 4% from the prior fertilizer year.
