India secures price discount forRussian DAP through March

As supply continues to mount against falling demand levels inthe nearer term, India's key buyers IPL and IFFCO havesecured a substantial discount on pricing with Russiansupplier PhosAgro this week for outstanding contract volumesfor deliveries through March 2012. It is understood that theprice discount is $35/mt which would lower the India DAPbenchmark to $642/mt CFR, with the buyers agreeing to takeextra tonnes but at seller's option on these.
