SWITZERLAND-BASED fertilizer and grain trading company Ameropa Holding AG is innegotiations to acquire control of Romania’s leading fertilizer producer, AzomuresTargu Mures.Azomures said in a release to the Bucharest Stock Exchange early this week thecompany had become aware that the shareholders of Eurofert and Azomures Holdings[the two firms that together hold a 75.9% stake in the fertilizer producer] are innegotiations for the sale of the two companies to Ameropa Holding. The talks are at anadvanced stage.
