THE SASKATCHEWAN government has approved theconstruction of the Boundary Dam integrated CarbonCapture and Storage Demonstration Project.One of the first of its kind in the world, the $1.24 billionproject will transform the generating unit near Estevan intoa producer of reliable, clean electricity while reducinggreenhouse gas emissions by approximately 1 millionmt/year.
