摘要

The so-called green shoots of a global economic recovery have been germinating for a few months now, so much so that they raise some major implications for investors. The sub-prime crisis blew up in late 2007, but it's only now that I've finally turned more positive, given signs that the recession in the United States could end as early as this quarter. In fact, I've now joined the cheer squad suggesting there's a good chance we've seen the lows in global equity markets - for this year at least. The bad news is that this means Australia is also probably getting very close to the end of its rate-cutting cycle.
