UAN prices up sharply in Romania and FSU

Asking-prices for UAN moved up sharply again this week on additional end-user demand and prospects of improvements in US pricing. Romanian producers indicate that netbacks as high as $380/mt FOB have been secured for July UAN-32 positions. Bids for forward tonnes in France are also up, but remain well behind the latest FOB sales from the Black Sea. UAN-30 at Rouen is on offer in the low ?260s/mt FCA, suggesting netbacks in the low $360s/mt FOB from the Baltic and the Black Sea.
