Piezoelectric Properties of Lead-Based Relaxor Ferroelectric Ceramics

Piezoelectric properties of Pb-based ferroelectricceramics, such as PMN-PT, PZN-PT-BT, PNN-PT, were studied.The results show that these ceramics all have good piezoelectricproperties near the morphotropic phase boundary. After thermalannealing, there are apparent improvements in the piezoelectric anddielectric properties. This phenomenon can be attributed to theextrinsic contributions of the domain walls movement.
