There was no sign this week of an end to the deadlock on prices between international suppliers and the government. Canpotex is sold out for the third quarter with no allocation for exports to India. The supplier has ended negotiations with Indian buyers regarding a new long-term supply deal in late June, and does not expect to restart talks on possible Q4 shipments until late in Q3.
