Suppliers decline Q4 sales ahead of price increases

International suppliers, including BPC, are not agreeing sales into Brazil for Q4 shipment before a price increase is announced later this month. BPC plans to announce the rise in the weeks leading up to TFI conference in Chicago on September 25-27. The move has been delayed due to economic uncertainty. The rise of about $25/mt on $550- 560/mt CFR Brazil in Q3 is smaller than originally planned.
