BASF to sell major part of its fertilizer activities

BASF ANNOUNCED Tuesday that it plans to sell major parts of its fertilizers activities. The operations to be sold comprise production plants in Antwerp, Belgium and BASF's 50% share of the joint venture PEC-Rhin in Ottmarsheim, France, the Ludwigshafen, Germany-headquartered group said.
