Huawei, a provider of next-generation telecommunications network solutions for operators around the world, has secured a top position in the global optical transport market, leading the global 40G industry with a market share of 44 percent, according to a report released by consulting firm Ovum titled "Market Share: 2Q10 Optical Networks, Global and Regional."
