From FTTx to FTTy and FTTz. Is the Global Market for FTTx Optical Components and Modules set for a second wave of growth in 2015-2020?

LightCounting shares research notes from FTTH APAC 2015. The event was held in Jakarta, Indonesia, bringing together close to 300 FTTH experts from across the Asia-Pacific region. Diversity is the keyword to describe this vast region in terms of cultures and economic development as well as FTTH deployments. However, all countries in the region are racing towards economic prosperity. Networking infrastructure, including FTTH, has been identified as one of the main priorities by leaders across the region: from the newly elected president of India to the Sultan of Brunei.
