Researching on Wide-Band Property of 1-3-2 Piezoelectric Composite

1-3-2 piezoelectric composite has been studied to fulfill the demand of wide-band transducer. The 1-3-2 piezoelectric composite is made of 1-3 piezoelectric composite and a ceramic plate in series. The mechanical quality factor of 1-3-2 composite have been deduced. The difference on wide-band property between the 1-3 and 1-3-2 piezoelectric composite is identified. In addition, some 1-3-2 composite samples are fabricated by dice-fill technology. The bandwidth of samples are investigated. The results show that the experiment agrees well with the calculation.
