摘要

Knowledge of P and S-wave velocity distribution results in more detailed characterizationof reservoir parameters within the study area. Seismogeological models, developed on the basis ofpreviously interpreted horizons and well data, can be confirmed by seismic modelling on the basis ofcomparison theoretical with recorded seismic sections. Additional availability of PS sections, besidePP sections, sanctions S wave velocity model construction, which is an important element of reser-voir interpretation. This article presents methodology of seismic modelling, comparison of theoreticalwith recorded seismic sections and finally developed depth P and S wave welocity models for thechosen profile. The research was carried out for the Carpathian Foredeep data covering multihorizongas reservoir localized within the Miocene formation.
