Orchard Soil Management to Improve the Root Environment

摘要

Orchard soil management is the common practice that forms the basis for the production of high-quality fruits. Unfortunately, more than several years are needed for soil improvement to distinguish its effects, fruit growers are liable to hesitate thiswork. Stable fruit production is supported by growing healthy fruit trees and with many fine roots. Thus, efforts should be made to improve the soil conditions through soil managements for achieving this goal. In this article, I will refer to the characteristics of the roots of fruit trees and also discuss the issues of orchard soil improvement for promoting the root environment of fruit trees.
