Rheological characteristics of concentrated solutions of pure fluoroplast (F-42V) and chlorinated polyvinylchloride (CPVC) polymers and their mixtures in dimethylsulfoxide and acetone were studied. Viscosities of solutions of slightly viscous CPVC and highly viscous F-42V differed from 135 times at 22°C to 11 times at 31°C Electrospinning of nanofibrous material from polymer mixtures was investigated preliminarily. Nano- and submicron-fibrous materials with increased hydrophobicity (edge wetting angle up to 107°) were prepared by electrospinning on a Nanospider apparatus from CPVC and F-42V solutions in dimethylacetamide and dimethylformamide.
