Aquaculture has a lot going for it. It's the world's fastest-growing food-production sector. It's one of the world's most efficient ways to produce protein. Demand for seafood is growing worldwide, while wild fisheries production has leveled off. But,historically, investors haven't exactly jumped at the opportunity to partake in the sector. Day 2 of GOAL 2012 featured speakers from the investment community who addressed investors' hesitancy to dive into aquaculture. But each presentation was delivered with the optimism that investors are beginning to look at aquaculture differently, as a glaring opportunity not to be missed.
