Alfalfa Concentrate: Natural Shrimp Color Enhancer

摘要

Study results indicated that the incorporation of an alfalfa concentrate containing natural carotenoids and pigments to the finishing diets of shrimp at a rate of 4-8% during the last month of growout can significantly increase the reddish colorationof shrimp after cooking. The studies also showed improved growth rates in the shrimp.
