摘要

Recent research with several sturgeon and carp species indicated that encapsulated Artemia urmiana nauplii have high potential to carry probiotics or other beneficial microorganisms into the digestive tracts of fish larvae. Improvements in the intestinal microbial balance of the fish could have beneficial effects on survival and growth rates. A. urmiana nauplii are able to graze on bacteria, and the number of bacteria accumulated by the Artemia depends on the bacterial strains used in the suspensionof probiotic broth.
