NO sooner was the dairy market outlook proclaimed to have reversed, turning toward a balance in supplies and stronger prices and returns, than the milk pail spilled. No sooner had this column reported that milk producers reduced the cow herd sufficiently enough to reduce milk production enough to strengthen prices enough to return to profitability (Feedstufk, Nov. 12) than the dairy markets, especially the cheese markets, crashed.
