Wheat streak mosaic virus under the microscope

Wheat streak mosaic virus is causing yield losses of up to 50 per cent in some Australian wheat crops but there are steps growers can take to prevent infection. A Grains Research and Development Corporation-funded project is under way to investigate the mite which transmits the virus in order to develop effective control methods.
