This month's comment has a different look, reflecting the differences — and similarities — in farming between Australia and South Africa where there are about 25 Kondinin Group members, many of whom have been members for more than 10 years. Startingin this edition, Farming Ahead will feature case studies focusing on four of these members, who mostly farm in the south of the Western Cape province near the towns of Riviersonderend and Caledon. On a recent holiday to South Africa, Kondinin Group research officer Pamela Lawson visited local farmers and has brought back their insights into agriculture.
