STATUS AND TRENDS IN PRODUCTION AND MARKETS FOR VISCOSE FIBRES AND YARNS IN RUSSIA AND THE WORLD

In 1990-2004,the commercial structure of the world chemical fibre market exhibited a trend toward an increase in the market share of synthetic fibres and contraction of the volumes of cellulose fibres [1-4].However,although the decrease in the relative importance of cellulose fibres (from 16 to 7%)continued the trends of previous periods,there was an absolute decrease in production volumes in 1990-2002 for the first time in the entire history of the world fibre market.
