Halibut Fafrming in Norway

As wild catches of Atlantic halibut in Norway and elsewhere slipped in recent decades, the culture of halibut increased to 1,000 mt/year. While stable production of juveniles with the correct pigmentation and morphology remains an issue for halibut production in Norway, such advances as the development of diets to replace live Artemia are improving the industry.
