Expansion or" the Bribie Island Research Centre in Queensland, Australia, allows scientific agencies to tackle multidisciplinary research tasks for the benefit of the aquaculture industry. The center houses researchers from the Qiieensland Departmentof Employment, Economic Development and Innovation, and Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation. Sunshine Coast and James Cook Universities also link into its activities. Projects include feed research, barramundi nutrition, cobia reproduction and prawn health management.
