Paving a successful future-Why developing countries are a priority for ISO

Since the early 1980s,ISO has been implementing technical assistance programmes for its developing countries members,which as of April 2011,account for three quarters of its 160 members.The past ISO Action plan for Developing Countries 2005-2010,was aligned with ISO's strategic plan for the same period,and set the roadmap for the different initiatives implemented.
