Producing hemp is an alternative venture set to boom as the building industry heads in the direction of ecologically sound materials. Ecofibre Industries executive founding director Phil Warner's visionary approach is attracting attention on a globalscale, even before production of his hemp building materials is under way. He said the industry was at a place in time when a building material was needed that was renewable, met future environmental requirements, created jobs in regional areas and benefited the agricultural sector.
