Winning recognition for an innovative product that offers a new or different solution is just reward for the effort that went into designing and engineering it. It's no different for the machinery manufacturers and suppliers who enter awards at showslike LAMMA. Awards judging at the show is organised by retired agricultural engineer John Sartain. "We invite judges who have an appreciation of the engineering merits of the products, but also understand the practicalities of using them," he says.
