Texel-cross ewes may have ranked below Mules when it comes to lambing percentage and management, but two producers are proving otherwise. That's the policy underpinning Lancashire farmer Richard Mor-phet's flock of 550 Texel-cross ewes at Far Highfield, Aughton, near Lancaster - a flock that has just achieved a January scanning result of202%.
