Ladies top the honours list at East of England

Ladies dominated in the sheep ring at the East of England Show, with two shearling ewes presented by two female handlers taking the championship titles. In what proved to be a very wet weekend at the East of England showground, the sheep championshipwas awarded to Sally Horrell and her Hampshire Down shearling ewe, which has previously won the breed championship titles at the Highland and Woodhall Spire Show. She is one of 50 ewes owned by Sally and Charles Horrell of Pode Hole Farm, Thorney, Peterborough, and is by Yar-combe Huzzar and out of a homebred ewe.
