David Felce knows a thing or two about nozzles. Not only does he have firsthand experience spraying his own 97ha at Midloe Grange Farm, St Neots, in Huntingdonshire - mainly wheat, oilseed rape and beans, plus 140ha for a neighbour - but he also advises on another 2000ha, and is involved in NRoSO training. He's also a LEAF farmer, so knows the financial and environmental challenges facing growers. He says both are areas where the right nozzles can help. "For any product, half the efficacy is in the can and the other half in nozzle choice, timing and accuracy," explains Mr Felce.
