The Internet is valuable resource for spreading information and opinion rapidly. In terms of developing a strategy to combat antibiotic resistance, it seems, everyone has an input. We give you edited highlights of the debate so far. Type the phrase "antibiotic resistance" into a search engine of choice, and a pandora's box of information and opinion is opened. There is plenty of practical advice out there, even though the scientific data needed to make realistic predictions is still relatively scarce.
