Time for the elderly and people with disabilities

摘要

In the August 2003 ISO Bulletin, consumer aspects in standardization were highlighted, and the fact that these issues were raised by representatives from the Consumer Policy committee (COPOLCO) within ISO is most welcome. As this year is the European Year of Disabilities, it is the right moment to address some of the open questions regarding standardization and the needs of the consumers, keeping the elderly and people with disabilities most particularly in mind.
