A 1,200-acre Exmoor farm has won the 2003 Soil Association Producer of the Year Award for Penny and Roger Webber. DAVID BURROWS talked to them about their winning system. Mindon Farm on Exmoor, Somerset, is home to Penny and Roger Webber; winners ofthe Soil Association's Producer of the Year Award 2003. Their 1,200 acre National Trust-owned farm produces Aberdeen Angus cattle, lamb, pork, and offers accommodation, a farm shop, local delivery and mail order services. Indeed, it was the range of activities on the farm, and the dedication shown to each one, which impressed, the competition judges most.
