Preparing for a feed recall

By having a recall program in place and readyfor immediate implementation, a firm can avoid a disastrous and costly situation. Provided in this section is a suggested manner in which to establish a feed recall program, including procedures to follow in implementing a feed recall. Every firm should have a recall program ready for immediate implementation. It must, however, have the backing of the highest officers in the organization. Incentive is provided in two distinct areas: To minimize product claims and the probability that responsible officers, as well as the company, may be cited by the Food & Drug Administration for regulatory violations. I would like to offer a suggested manner in which to establish a feed recall program ... or more specifically, procedures that are to be followed in implementing a feed recall.
