Retrofit and capacity increase for South America's largest bridge scraper reclaimer

The largest bridge scraper reclaimer in South America was commissioned at Cementos Lima S.A.A (now Union Andina de Cementos (Unacem) in Peru in 1979. It remains the largest on the continent to this day. The equipment, with a diameter of 108m and a reclaim capacity of 10OOt/hr of limestone has now been rebuilt within the framework of a refurbishment programme painstakingly and jointly planned by SCHADE Lagertechnik engineers and assembly experts and the client.
