Pakistan goes green with first RDF production plant

The Fauji Cement Company Ltd, Islamabad, has ordered Pakistan's first RDF production plant. In 2007, German company MVW Lechtenberg started to analyse the possibilities for the production of refuse derived fuels (RDF) from municipal solid waste (MSW) in Pakistan, with a focus on the availability, quantity and quality of the landfilled waste.
