Climate change has been recognised as one of the most significant challenges for the next several decades, largely due to the negative effects of greenhouse gases (GHGs), whose levels are expected to rise along with the growing global population and increasing GDP. A concerted effort in curbing GHGs will result in ways to mitigate their negative effects on the global climate.
