摘要

Medulloepithelioma, the most common congenital tumor of the non-pigmented ciliary epithelium, is diagnosed in the first decade of life, and is thought to arise from embryonic medullary epithelium [1]. It is histopatholog-ically classified as either teratoid or non-teratoid, and subclassified as benign or malignant [1-6]. Typical clinical features include lens coloboma, secondary glaucoma, and a fleshy mass in the ciliary body [1]. Medulloepithelioma is managed with enucleation, but iridocyclectomy or plaque radiotherapy are options for less advanced cases [1].
