Zero play on ram & transfer According to their manufacturer, Model MA and Model MB five-die cold heading machines are the only headers in the world without bronze liners, and they provide absolute zero play on the ram and transfer. Maximum wire diameter for the Model MA is 8 mm (0.3"), maximum wire diameter for the MB is 11 mm (0.4") and the cut-off lengths are 95 and 110 mm (3.7" and 4.3"), respectively. The frames and rams of these heading machines are constructed from steel for sturdiness, rigidity and high resistance. Additionally, the Model MA and Model MB provide extremely high precision and speed with no vibrations. Linear wire feed with grippers is standard. The heading movement is accomplished through a toggle effect in order to provide steady heading precision and reduced wear.
