Floral Glass celebrated glass with a select group of progressive architects and designers last summer. They were invited because they have a reputation for pushing the range of options on their projects and the manufacturer of architectural glass wanted to update its customers about what was possible. These design professionals saw and heard about the latest innovations in laminated glass design, energy-efficient insulating glass and Low-E coatings, as well as the use of color.Floral wanted to show these specifiers its new thermoplastic spacer system (TPS) which not only automates insulating glass (IG) production, but also allows for production of warm edge spacers with more shape flexibility. This is significant for architects and specifiers, because it means that they can have he freedom to design windows of any shape hat still benefit from the energy-efficient properties of an insulating glass.
