Advanced Temperature Monitoring in the Glass Tank

Accurate temperature monitoring in the glass tank is extremely important. The bridge wall and the port arches are commonly measured to prevent overheating and to extend refractory life. Temperature measurements are also used to determine the overall temperature balance in the tank and for optimizing firing reversals. Traditional thermocouples or infrared spot sensors are limited to measuring a small location, while large areas of the tank go unmonitored.
