Frederick Douglass said, "If there is no struggle, there is no progress." Or is it more like, "The more things change, the more they stay the same"? Looking back at 2012, maybe it's a little of both.Most growers have told us that they had a much better year in 2012 than in 2011—some even going as far as saying it was one of the best they've had in 10 years. And although the summer either rained us out or made us melt, spring was strong enough to help many growers stay ahead of the game. Although, I'm sure many of you were of the mindset that nothing could've been as bad as last year.
