Harry Clarke at Ashdown Park

THE article on the Chagall windows of All Saints church in Tudeley (Glass Cone 98) caused one of our members, Christopher Maxwell-Stewart, to reflect on how poorly appreciated 20th-century stained glass windows are in England. His comment came with an exhortation for someone to write about Harry Clarke's vast range of work, his grounding in his father's glass atelier and also his graphic work with its 'Beardsleian' quality to it.
