Planting Community Pride With AIB

Each spring, Bob's Market and Greenhouses plants in excess of 740 containers for nine communities along the Ohio River Valley. Three of these communities entered the America in Bloom beautification competition in 2013. This product takes up 12,000 sq.ft. of space out of a 20-acre capacity. Planted in April and delivered in May, this crop is grown and shipped young to avoid damage during installation. Crop times can vary from two to four weeks. In addition to container plantings, we also supply plant material for numerous landscaped areas and for each community's fundraising events. In 2013, additional invoiced sales totaled more than $43,000 at the retail level.
