Class Canada magazine is I committed to uncovering the newest trends and technologies entering the Canadian glass industry and this special issue is exclusively devoted to that. This edition of Glass Canada contains the fourth annual New Product Reference Guide, a comprehensive look at the new products and services being introduced by manufacturers and suppliers to the industry. This feature outlines the tools, material and techniques that are essential components of the glass profession. In a glance, readers can learn about new equipment, products or technologies entering the market and compare them to determine what is best for their businesses. This, I am told, is what some progressive glaziers use to get, as they say, a 'heads-up' on a product before their competitors. I myself see the value of this special issue based 011 the Reader Reply Card system that accompanies this section in the magazine. The reader reply cards act as a conduit for more information about a product published in the magazine, directly from the supplier. Last year, Glass Canada's New Product Reference Guide received more reader reply cards from people requesting more information than any other issue in this magazines' history. To-date, 834 cards have been returned and they are still coming in, even though it has been almost one year since that issue was circulated. This speaks in volumes.
