Glassline has introduced an extremely fast and reliable system for automatically loading a horizontal tempering furnace. The system is fast, compact and safer than standard robot applications. Multiple parts can be placed onto the load bed and the placement position and orientation of the part is programmable in X, Y and Theta. An additional vertical axis is available for furnace line height changes and multiple bridges can be supplied for cycle times reaching.,,2.5 seconds per part. Eliminating manual loading means less handling scratches and more accurate and consistent loads, improving yields. In addition, the automated system eliminates operator strain. The system can be purchased with vacuum cups or edge gripper devices. The automatic furnace loading system is very versatile, capable of applications for automotive tempering, flat tempering automatic batch configuration and custom mirror line loading.
